Solid Surface is known by many brand names. Probably the most recognizable is Dupont Corian. Most of these brands are a form of acrylic slab product that comes in 12mm (1/2") thickness. Since the color and pattern of solid surface are through the body, we can create many unique looks with this material. Unlike stone and quartz, solid surface can be sanded on its face and routed with conventional carbide tooling. This means we can provide a near-seamless look and feel. In recent years, Signature has redirected our effort with solid surface to include uses that you might not have considered. Shower stalls, for example, are a great place to use solid surface products. They are very hygienic, and can be installed seamless on each face, so the only caulk joint is in the corners.
